Around DRiffield and the east riding

The Nunburnholme Cross - This stone pillar was unearthed in the churchyard and erected in the church, but it was missing a middle section and the two remaining parts were misaligned in Victorian times. Now the two parts have been put the right way and the pillar cleaned and relocated. It exhibits Anglo-Saxon, Viking and Norman stonemasonry all on one object.
